Kosova Task Force, USA
Kosova Task Force, USA, is the rejuvenation of the Bosnia Task
Force, USA. Bosnia Task Force, USA was organized in 1992 to deal
with the crisis in Bosnia. Its main support came from the major
Islamic organizations of North America. Its grassroots pull in the
communities helped mobilize pressure on the U.S. administration
to act to ameliorate the crisis. The Bosnia Task Force's achievements
included 2 rallies, the first in Washington DC in 1993 and the second
in New York in 1995. These marked the first time tens of thousands
of Muslims congregated together to stand up for justice in Bosnia.

With the recent events in Kosova unfolding, members of the task
force felt the American Muslim community could not sit idly by.
The major organizations were contacted,
and they again expressed their strong support for this effort.
