Qelbinur Sidik is a 51-year-old Uyghur woman from Uygur region, East Turkistan (so called Xinjiang Autonomous region in China). She was born into a family of six children in 1969, in Urumqi, the Uyghur regional capital some 3,000 kilometers from Beijing.
