Justice For All Condemns U.S.–Israeli UNSC Resolution as a “Blueprint for Colonial Re-occupation”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CHICAGO, November 16, 2025 – Justice For All, an international human rights organization accredited to the United Nations, condemns in the strongest possible terms the latest U.S. sponsored draft resolution before the UN Security Council concerning Gaza. The proposal, which would impose an international force under U.S. command and Israeli collaboration, is a transparent attempt to legitimize a foreign takeover of Palestinian land and governance.

The draft reportedly envisions a three-year mandate through 2027 for a force charged with “stabilizing” Gaza by enforcing the siege, disarming the Palestinian resistance, and installing a colonial-style governing council that could include figures such as Donald Trump and Tony Blair, tasked with ruling Gaza until the Palestinian Authority is deemed sufficiently “reformed”.

“This is not a plan for peace; it is instead, a blueprint for colonial re-occupation,” said Imam Abdul Malik Mujahid, President of Justice For All. “The same powers complicit in genocide now seek a UN stamp of approval to disarm survivors, exercise control over their governance, and normalize their oppression. We are witnessing an attempt to compel a people to plead for their basic rights from their executioners. This is an abomination that must be rejected outright.”

Justice For All urges nations to stand firm and to veto any resolution that fails to end the occupation and guarantee full Palestinian freedom and self-determination.

“The international community must not be deceived,” said Imam Saffet Catovic, Director of UN Operations for Justice For All. “This resolution offers a false mandate for a land grab. From the home demolitions in Um El Kheir to the annihilation of entire neighborhoods in Gaza, we see the same pattern: a so-called ‘stabilization’ plan designed to prevent a sovereign Palestinian state and impose permanent subjugation. True peace requires an end to occupation, not its repackaging under a UN flag. The General Assembly must now invoke the Uniting for Peace resolution to provide genuine protection for Palestinians and demand accountability for Israel before the ICJ and ICC.”

Justice For All warns that the move comes as Palestinians in Gaza face an unfathomable humanitarian catastrophe—digging through an estimated 61 million tonnes of rubble with their bare hands to search for the missing, while Israel continues to block heavy equipment and essential aid.

“Aid is still being weaponized and now the architects of the siege want to command the relief effort,” said Hena Zuberi, Director of Advocacy at Justice For All. “We do not need a force to manage the cage; we need a force to dismantle it.”

Justice For All calls on the international community to reject any resolution that undermines Palestinian sovereignty and instead to demand:

  • an immediate and permanent ceasefire,
  • full withdrawal of Israeli forces,
  • unconditional and massive humanitarian access, and
  • the deployment of a truly impartial protection force to safeguard civilians and rebuild a free Gaza.
