Statement on the State Dept’s failure to designate India as a Country of Particular Concern for 2024

Justice For All is disappointed at the Secretary of State for not designating India a Country of Particular Concern regarding religious rights violations.

There is no other country where 249 churches have been destroyed in a week other than India. Muslims are forced out of their places of worship. The state is deciding what Muslims, Christians and Dalits can eat or cannot eat due to different laws forcing Hindu Brahminic dietary rules on other communities.

Imam Malik Mujahid president of Justice For All, in a comment on the designation, stated that the Secretary of State must respect the recommendation of the bi-partisan US Commission on International Religious Freedom which has been consistently recommending that India be designated as a Country of Particular Concern and sanctions be placed on those who are committing religious violations.
