Justice For All Urges De-linking of Food and Medicine From 20-Point Peace Plan
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chicago Oct. 3, 2025
Justice For All is deeply concerned that the U.S.-Israel 20-Point Peace Plan ties the full restoration of food and medical aid to Gaza to the broader political deal. This linkage is in direct violation of international law. Under the Fourth Geneva Convention, as the occupying power, Israel bears a non-negotiable legal obligation to ensure the humanitarian well-being of the civilian population.
The delivery of immediate, unimpeded aid must be entirely de-linked from the agreement or implementation of any part of this, or any other, political framework.
With famine conditions worsening and children dying from starvation and disease, the United States must not be complicit in collective punishment.
“The 20-point plan and the recognition from 148 nations are political artifacts if they do not immediately translate into food in the stomachs of starving Palestinians. A statehood certificate cannot be eaten. It cannot cure malnutrition. We are witnessing a genocide by bureaucracy and starvation, and the world’s paper promises are blowing away in the wind.” – Imam Abdul Malik Mujahid, President of Justice For All.
International law is clear: an occupying power must ensure food and medical supplies to the population to the fullest extent of the means available to it. Starvation of civilians as a method of warfare is prohibited.
These obligations are not contingent on a ceasefire agreement or a finalized peace plan. They are immediate and absolute.
Justice For All calls on President Trump to:
- Immediately de-link food and medicine from the peace plan.
- Push for the unconditional, rapid restoration of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
